I wrote this piece for my dear friend, Paulie Teardrop.  He passed away on January 14, 2011, but I wrote this particular song for him a few years ago when I was part of a celebration that recognized him being in the music business for 50 years.  Of the countless times I worked with him in Atlantic City, he told me his life story about their hit with the song "Till" and about the group he and his brother Tony were in called "The Teardrops".  When he lost his brother he couldnt go on singing, but then he thought of his brother and realized he should be singing. I put it all in the song.  I hope you enjoy it.
