Words cannot describe how astonishing it was to perform at Carnegie Hall. There are not many singers who would be willing to share such a prestigious stage with other performers. Thank you for believing in me and I know the future holds more shining stars for us to reach for. Keep on smiling because you have so much to be proud of.

We had never been into Carnegie Hall and your performance there last night made it unforgettable. Everything about the evening was perfect, mainly YOU! We had never heard you sing without a microphone before and your voice was tremendous and clear. We were overwhelmed with the entire program, especially the "found" Mario Lanza songs that you debuted for the world. We hope you can record them soon to share with everyone. Please tell Elio, Sam, and Frank how great they were also. Your choice of emcee, Ralph Marcarelli, was so good in telling us a little history of each song. Your mom is so justifiably proud of you and so gracious to everyone. Thank you for our first evening at Carnegie Hall and we hope we can see you there again soon.

Aaron, I cannot tell you how excited I am that St. Anthony's Feast is finally coming and you will once again be here with us in Boston to give another remarkable performance!! I heard your voice from down the street in another part of the North End and followed the sound until I arrived at the bandstand with my eyes wide open in awe. I have been listening to your CD all year and patiently waiting for you to come back so stat I can bring my Mom, Josephine, who is a huge Mario Lanza and Tony Bennett fan. She just turned 87 and I know that she will be blown away as I was. I was the girl who told you to go and get your CD's to sell after your show. . . I look forward to speaking with you and giving you another big hug and kiss after your performance. . .travel safely, my friend!

Aaron, My Sympathies to you and Maria's whole family. I will never forget har sweet angelic voice, even when she was yelling at me.
Aaron-- Maria was very devoted to you and your career. She told me that you are the "Greatest of all Time". I really laughed when she would pull you by your ears to sit you down at the end of your shows to go over paperwork w/ you. Yes, she did love you like a son. I will miss Maria's sweet angelic voice.

Blessings,
Maria Helena

Despite what they say about you on the two Lanza forums, I think that you are a fine singer. Also, Joann Mura--if you are planning an Edna Fallonatic-style attack on me because of the Lanza book, I shall be waiting for you with open arms, baby. Just check out my blogs! Sorry, Aaron, but her name is listed under your profile. My very best wishes for the future. David Bret

Aaron
Our condolences on the passing of your dear friend Maria. It is very hard to understand why the ones we love are taken from us so early in life.
The following has helped to comfort my wife and I whenever we lose a family member or a friend.I pray that they will do the same for you. We just lost a dear friend of ours, she lost her battle with cancer the last week of July.

Weep Not For Me

Weep not for me though I am gone
Into the gentle night
Grieve if you will, but not for long
Upon my souls sweet flight.

There is no need for tears.
I am at peace, my soul is at rest
There is no pain, I suffer not,
For with your love I was so blessed.

I am in a place of comfort
The fear now is gone.
Put those things out of your thoughts,
In your memory I live on.

Remember not my fight for breath
Remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death
But celebrate my life

God Bless
Alphonse & Rose

Dear Aaron,

I want to thank you so much for giving Maria your gift of song as you sang the Ave Maria at her funeral Mass today. I know she was smiling down at you as your gift of song filled the church. I also want to say that it was a joy to have you sing with the choir. Aaron,Maria loved you so much, and I could still remember how she lit up as she spoke to me about you. She loved you not only for your voice, but for your pure heart as well. I honestly could say that I never had the chance to hear you sing before today, but from the moment you opened your mouth to sing, I knew in my heart exactly what she was trying to tell me. I know Maria will be still be watching over you from heaven.

God Bless, Robin

August 3, 2009

Dear Aaron; It is with deep shock and sadness that we learned of Maria's death yesterday (from Adele Williams). It just seems like a few days ago that I was chatting with Maria. Over the years, we had many telephone calls and they reflected her profound belief in your prof. career and success. They also reflected her strong faith in her religion, and her perseverance. Her spirit of goodness shone through over the telephone lines. At times she made them vibrate with her enthusiasm. We will miss her calls and we will miss her, even though we never met her personally. We know that you will mourn her and miss her terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time, but we also know and pray that Maria is at peace with her loved ones and God.
With Love and Friendship.

Hi Aaron, What a fantastic time I had at Il Cortile on the 24th of April. This was the first time I heard you sing in person, and you are, without a doubt, breathtaking. You brought tears to my eyes when you sang Mama. I have never heard Mama sung in person and you really blew me away.

She thinks the world of you and has said that you are a genuine friend to her. You truly are a wonderful performer and I am very much looking forward to seeing you in concert again.

Dear Aaron,
Before January 2009 becomes history let me thank you for your thoughtfulness in wishing all of us a happy and healthy 2009. May your 2009 be filled with every joy and with health, success, and peace of mind. I see that you will be at The Hilton in Staten Island on February 8th. I still remember the great show you put on there in September 2008. I came all the way from Las Vegas to see you. You must remember my friend Marge taking all those photos? I wish I could do it again but, unfortunately, it is not in the cards this time. I'll be there in spirit. Is there any plans for a show here in Vegas any time soon? Love, - your #1 fan in Las Vegas."

Hi Aaron: Had the pleasure of attending your Christmas concert at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Waterbury, Connecticut on December 7, 2008. You were just wonderful and Father Aniello was extremely pleased with the turnout of people attending. I bought your Christmas CD and played it on the way home after the concert. Hope you will be at our feast in July 2009 - everyone enjoyed your performance this past Summer and are looking forward to your return visit. May God bless you and your God-given talent. Buon Natale.

I attended our 2008 Seattle Washington Italian Festival in September hoping to hear you perform here this year. I really enjoyed your music at the 2007 Italian Festival last year. I had the chance to meet and talk to you after your performance and bought one of your CDs. I was born in Waterbury CT and my grandparents were from Sicily before coming to America. I still have an aunt, uncle and cousins living in Waterbury so I do come out your way once in a while. I sure hope you plan on attending our Festival next year. I would like to see and hear you perform again. Thank you for the beautiful Italian music Aaron. Although I don't speak Italian, I really enjoy the music.
