As you were performing at my parents anniversary gala, I could not help but feel that I had known you prior. Then it dawned on me, I was watching and listening to a young Mario Lanza! Your voice was as smooth as velvet; each note that you hit was as if silk was wrapping them.
Most of all, you were not the typical showmen taking over the spot light. You kept yourself in the background as if with that voice and talent it would be easy to do. We appreciated that you were keeping the focus on my parents because it was their 51st anniversary and you did not want to take over. But, with that charisma, voice, looks, and joi d'vive it is difficult to for any person to keep it down.
Everyperson at the gala enjoyed your company. You made everyone that you were accessible, caring and most of all you are quite humble! We shall never forget how happy you made our dad and mom feel! How you brought tears my father's eyes when he heard you sing!
Words could not pale to the feeling of admiration and thankfulness that you have given us on that day! So, all I can say, thank you for being you!
